Our Activities List
The NHS Alumni Association conducts several social activities each year in an effort to permit members to meet and greet old friends whom
they may not have seen for many years.
With the exception of admission to the Thanksgiving Day football games and the Wall of Honor dinner, all of our activities are free of charge.
We use dues for this purpose ($10.00 per year). We do not believe members should have to pay extra for these activities.
As long as our finances hold out with dues payments, we will continue this policy of free admissions.
Don’t forget that you can bring your friends, who may or may not be potential members of our association.

Summer Picnic
Each year, early in July, we hold a summer picnic at Cranbury Park. Our food comes out after 5:30 PM and, if things go as usual, we should have many in attendance.
We will announce our Wall of Honor recipients at this affair as well as introduce this years Scholarship Recipients and their families.
With the new pavilion in place, we can be assured of great facilities and, with everyone helping out with their favorite dishes, it’s a great day.
Lots to eat and drink, and lots of reminiscing.
Wall of Honor Dinner
This is our big affair.
At the Wall of Honor dinner we will fete this years selected honorees.
All are distinguished alumni of Norwalk High. This is a great time for classes to get together to fill their own tables of ten for mini-reunions, whether you’ve held a formal reunion during the summer or not. All classes that come as a group will be acknowledged. Click here for a reservation form for this year's dinner.
In 2009 it was held on October 4th at the Norwalk Inn and Conference Center at 3:00 p.m.
NHS Alumni Association's Oldies Dance Party

Thanksgiving Day Football Game
On Thanksgiving Day each year, we root for Norwalk High School against our inter-city rivals, Brien McMahon High School.
Thanksgiving Day games alternate between our home field and Brien McMahon Field. You’ll have to pay to get into the game.
Christmas Social
In December, we’ll hold our annual Christmas Social at City Hall, with appropriate refreshments to herald the holiday season.
We usually have a local scholastic choral group performing and door prizes. It’s a festive occasion. Check back for details.
