The Scholarship fund has been established as a source of financial assistance to graduating Norwalk High School students. The Alumni Association conducts yearly fund drives calling for donations, of any amount, from its members and the community in general.
All money received is held in a special account and is used exclusively for scholarships. Each year we provide two separate awards; one each to a boy and a girl attending 4-year colleges. We also administer a number of special awards.
|
Donations can be made as memorials, simple gifts, or in honor of a friend or relative.
Proper acknowledgement will be made as directed.
All contributions should be mailed to NHSAA at the post office box listed.
Please include your name, and if appropriate, the name and class year of the person being memorialized.
Contributions are tax deductible under the provisions of Section 501-c3 of the Internal Revenue Service Code.
Donations in any amount are pooled to provide grants to qualifying graduates of Norwalk High School in amounts to provide the greatest financial assistance possible unless otherwise specified by the donor's).
Memorial gifts of $25.00 or more will be listed on the NHSAA Memorial Board.
Specific Scholarships can be established with a gift of $500 or more. They may be given One Time or with a pledge or endowment in order to perpetuate the memorial. Other contributors may add to a specific fund.
