More than 100 attend Class of 1958 reunion

Some 147 classmates and guests attended the 50th anniversary reunion of the Norwalk High School Class of 1958 Saturday night at Shore & Country Club.

The class was the largest in NHS history when it graduated in June of that year even as plans for the new Brien McMahon High School were reaching the final stages. The reunion will continue today with a brunch from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Marriott Courtyard.

Some 417 classmates were pictured or captioned in the class yearbook of 1958, but the reunion committee has continued to list the names of 466 classmates who were at one time with the class through a highly sophisticated multi-colored computer printout.

While the largest number of reunion attendees -- 35 -- still reside in Norwalk, 25 make their homes in Connecticut.
